This is the second preparation day i have spent with work colleagues of RBS as we prepare for the Yorkshire three peak challenge. After a hard week at work we were all looking forward to “escaping the office” and spending time in the Yorkshire dales.
With the weather on our side we set off as a determined group. Andy’s humour makes everyone laugh.
As we could not see the summit of Ingleborough at 723 metres of height due to low cloud. This could have put off alot of walkers but not our group. Determined to reach the top of the mountain we worked as a team and kept morale and spirits high.
After much uphill walking we got the top of the mountain but could not see much of a view as the low cloud was still prevalent.
Eager to descend but cautious of the wet limestone underfoot, we worked as a team looking after each other and often waiting for group members to catch up.
A sterling effort by Alice, Andy, Katie and Lisa. A well earned drink perhaps this evening guys?
Please withhold sending me your blistered feet photographs for one evening. You all achieved today. Well done.
Want to earn a free coffee? How long did it take me (to the nearest five minutes) to run the exact route that we walked today? I ran it straight after you guys left for home.
Post your guess in the comments box below. Closest estimate wins!

This is a really good read Matt! I guess 90 minutes for your run!
I’m quicker than that Alice! I am young man still. Getting closer though.
We have a winner!
It took me 82 minutes to run the exact route (car park in Clapham to the top of Ingleborough then down to Clapham).
The winner is Alice. I shall pop over to you today Alice. Good effort everyone.
