Yesterday i had the pleasure of guiding a regular client Pam and her friend Liz.
Both ladies were keen to explore the countryside around the Edale valley with a relaxing look and talk about the flora and geology whilst we walked.
We were blessed with warm weather and we made the most of it.
We talked and admired the views regularly as Pam is experienced in walking in the valley.
Our conversation happened across Tom Stephenson and the history of the Peak district national park dating back to 1952. We also talked about how the countryside is a good way of “clearing your mind” of thoughts.
The smell of the flora at this time of year is amazing. Liz was alert to this and noticed it before myself on a few occasions.
Lovely company from Pam and Liz and nice tea and coffee at the National Trust “Penny Pot” cafe to finish the day. Thank you for a great day out.
Enjoy the below photographs. Why not hire me for a day or weekend as a walking guide at Walking Guide in the Peak district
