The current good weather in the Peak district is leading the countryside into a surge of activity. Ramsons (wild garlic), herb robert, and heath bedstraw are all common and in abundance if you look closely.
The smell of wild garlic is a big clue whilst you are walking. Nature is great at providing these little hints to you. I have been walking alot in the Longdendale valley, easier terrain with brilliant views. The reservoirs here provide water to Manchester and surrounding areas.
